About The Role
As a Procurement Coordinator at Kinetic IT, you will play a critical role in coordinating procurement processes, ensuring efficient invoice processing, maintaining supplier relationships, and adhering to procurement policies and procedures. This role requires expertise in accounts payable, procurement, supporting supplier risk assessments, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives. As a conduit between the manager and the administrators you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running and facilitating of tasks performed by the team.
Responsibilities will include:
• Act as the first point of escalation for Procurement Administrators, providing guidance and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Oversee accounts payable functions, including purchase order/invoice processing, reconciliations, and credit card transactions, ensuring month-end and year-end deadlines are met.
• Conduct supplier risk analysis and due diligence, ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards.
• Maintain and update procurement databases to support accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
• Prepare and analyse procurement metrics, spend reports, aged payables, and other procurement insights.
• Manage supplier onboarding, ensuring adherence to contractual and confidentiality standards.
• Oversee procurement processes related to new supplier risk assessments, supplier performance and compliance with procurement policies.
• Coordinate company-wide travel arrangements and drive continuous improvements in procurement processes.
What you’ll bring to the table:
• 3+ years of experience in an administration, compliance, or finance role with exposure to procurement processes with a strong proactive approach to finance and procurement activities
• Analytical mindset — able to assess trends, risks, and propose improvements.
• Strong understanding of procurement and accounts payable functions, including reconciliations and management reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills — confident communicator who can support the business and act as first point of escalation for procurement matters.
• Knowledge of supplier due diligence, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems
