As a Service Desk Operations Manager based onsite in Melbourne’s CBD, we’re seeking a dynamic people leader to oversee a large team of IT support staff, while also serving as a key customer liaison to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Your primary focus will be leading a team within a Federal Government account—managing operational activities, fostering outstanding customer service, supporting technical troubleshooting, and driving process improvement, all while contributing to an enjoyable and inclusive workplace.
Because we're not your typical IT outsourcer (we're privately owned and genuinely prioritise our people), you’ll join an operations management team where each day you’ll shape operational direction and support our customers in achieving their strategic goals as part of a wider national team.
KEEN TO GET INVOLVED? YOU’LL JUST NEED SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Must hold an active AGSVA Security Clearance (above minimum level)
- Proven experience leading and developing service support teams, confidently managing escalations and driving performance
- Ability to motivate and foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Capability to champion continuous improvement initiatives, bringing innovation to processes and resource utilisation for optimal service quality
- Proactively build and maintain trusted client relationships as a dedicated point of contact, leveraging strong stakeholder management skills to ensure ongoing satisfaction and consistently exceed expectations.
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively with vendors and partners to manage resources and deliver exceptional services and products
