About The Role
We don’t always hire people for IT work at Kinetic IT, this is a unique, hands-on opportunity for a Store Person to join one of Kinetic ITs larger accounts based in East Perth. Be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and disposal of ICT equipment and associated goods. The role ensures accurate inventory records, effective storage utilisation, and safe, efficient handling of all assets.
Responsibilities will include:
• Receive, inspect, and safely store incoming ICT hardware; verify deliveries against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records; conduct cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring secure packaging and correct documentation.
• Asset tag and register hardware in line with departmental policies.
• Support desk moves and hardware relocations as needed.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with protocols, including PPE use and hazard reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and provide guidance on system and access use.
• Generate inventory and asset reports for management review.
What you’ll bring to the table:
• Any experience of goods incoming and outgoing/ logistics/ warehouse work
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Organisational abilities
• Ability to assist with ad hoc tasks such as office desk moves etc
• Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
