About the opportunity:
As a Procurement Coordinator at Kinetic IT, you will play a critical role in coordinating procurement processes, ensuring efficient invoice processing, maintaining supplier relationships, and adhering to procurement policies and procedures. This role requires expertise in accounts payable, procurement, supporting supplier risk assessments, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of escalation for Procurement Administrators, providing guidance and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Oversee accounts payable functions, including purchase order/invoice processing, reconciliations, and credit card transactions, ensuring month-end and year-end deadlines are met.
- Conduct supplier risk analysis and due diligence, ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards.
- Maintain and update procurement databases to support accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare and analyse procurement metrics, spend reports, aged payables, and other procurement insights.
- Manage supplier onboarding, ensuring adherence to contractual and confidentiality standards.
- Oversee procurement processes related to new supplier risk assessments, supplier performance and compliance with procurement policies.
- Coordinate company-wide travel arrangements and drive continuous improvements in procurement processes.
More about you:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong background in accounts payable and procurement. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3+ years of experience in an administration, compliance, or finance role with exposure to procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement and accounts payable functions, including reconciliations and management reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to assess trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge of supplier due diligence, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
