ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Process Manager - Change and Release, to join our Service Engagement team within a dynamic, newly established State Government customer account based in East Perth, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing the Change and Release management processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of IT services through well-structured change, release, and continual service improvement practices.

As the Process Manager for Change and Release, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, govern processes, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards, all while enhancing service performance and mitigating risks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and governing Change and Release management processes for the customer, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and business objectives.
  • Managing the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process, overseeing change evaluations, approvals, and scheduling.
  • Implementing and overseeing release processes to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption to services.
  • Driving Continual Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives by analysing performance metrics and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to integrate change and release processes with other ITSM functions, ensuring seamless service delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Change and Release management, with a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence change and drive process adoption across teams.
  • Proven ability to drive CAB processes and facilitate decision-making for change approvals and prioritisation.
  • Hands-on experience with Service Management tools (ServiceNow)
