About the role
We are looking for an Associate Systems Engineer (Desktop Technician) with a strong background in IT support, troubleshooting, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing first and second-level support for desktop-related issues
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software components on desktops and laptops
- Collaborating with end-users to resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and system upgrades
- Monitoring and managing desktop security, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
- Working closely with IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of desktop systems with other infrastructure components
- Taking service desk calls as needed.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Essential: Current active Government Security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain high-level clearance
- Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or similar role
- Excellent problem-solving and ability to work independently
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the willingness to seek assistance when neede
