With current vacancy for a new Release Manager, this role works in association with our new Federal Government customer in a Permanent Full-time capacity. This role is based on site in Canberra Civic, ACT. We are also happy to offer hybrid working, allowing you to work from home some days of the week.

Embedded in the customer environment joining Kinetic IT in leading this enterprise Service Integration & Management (SIAM) framework, you will play a key role in harmonising the customer’s multi-vendor IT environment to achieve the right business outcomes.   

Collaborating with the key stakeholders and other Service Providers, within Release & Deployment practices you are to establish the day-to-day approach, ensuring alignment with defined policies and best practice, manage and maintain the Master Release plans, leading of Release forums and the overarching drive of continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ability to obtain & hold an Australian Government Clearance
• Availability for 24x7 roster shifts, during peak 16-week period (12hrr shift, 4 on/off pattern)
• Availability to participate in ‘On call’ rostering as needed for process Release & Deployment support
• Strong experience in Release Management process execution, in an enterprise ITIL aligned - IT Service Management environment
• Demonstrated ability in analysis of key process & stakeholder collaboration, conducting proactive reviews of Release practices
• High level interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Strong documentation and clear writing skills for processes and work instructions
• Hold current certification in and proven experience in ITIL or SIAM services is highly desirable
