About the role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join Kinetic IT on a 3-month contract, working collaboratively with an attractive enterprise customer. There’s potential for the contract to be extended depending on project outcome.

The Senior Business Analyst will assist on an enterprise project, to help refresh existing workflows and defining business processes for a new product replacing a legacy business system for a major Government organisation.  

This role will entail:

• Interpreting the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level.
• Contribute to and support feasibility studies from a technological and organisational perspective, and document findings.
• Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and articulate changes required. Document requirements, functional specifications, and use cases to guide development and system enhancements.
• Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective project working relationships and to ensure stakeholder needs are identified and met.
• Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
• Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, including specification for solutions and preparation of complex reports.
• Respect and comply with guidelines and standards issued by Kinetic IT and, where applicable our customers. This includes Health and Safety, Security and Kinetic IT’s Universal Behaviours, to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. 
• Complete reviews of the Quality Management System documentation processes within professional domain and apply continuous improvement updates as necessary.

If you were here today, you would have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering process and systems related projects in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding and proven experience defining and refreshing workflows for enterprise systems.
• Proven track record of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
• Data Analytics skills to present and review critical data relevant to project work.
• Strong verbal, written and communication skills.
• Ability to build and create long lasting relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in IT and Business Analysis, e.g., IIBA Business Analysis Certification.
