ABOUT THE ROLE:

Kinetic IT are searching for an experienced Technical Specialist in Cisco Networking to join our team. If you’re self-motivated and enjoy working collaboratively, this role is for you.

You’ll be part of our managed services delivery team, working onsite with our customer based in Canberra. Your role will involve providing strong technical leadership, mentoring your teammates, and building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

KEEN TO GET INVOLVED? YOU’LL JUST NEED SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, ISE and DNAC
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, and NAT.
• Network security expertise with firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP for load balancing and application delivery.
• Capable of handling complex ICT systems and providing senior-level support.
• Availability to participate in the On Call roster - 1 in 3 weeks throughout the year, with flexibility to support afterhours on an ad hoc basis
• Driving improvements and innovation.
• Building and maintain trusted partner relationships.
• Strong written communication for clear documentation.
• Understanding of ITIL Framework.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Australian Government security clearance (essential)
• Cisco and network certifications
• ITIL certification (desirable)
• Ability to work to an on-call roster, and flexibility
