About the role:
As a Systems Engineer focused on UNIX technologies, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering robust Unix system support to maintain exceptional service delivery aligned with our operational and project goals.

We’re seeking a Systems Engineer with a passion for Unix systems and the expertise to manage and enhance our Unix pipeline across both operations and project streams. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering quality support for UNIX and Linux systems, developing automation scripts, Managing Red Hat Satellite

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support and administer Unix systems, with a focus on Linux (RHEL, Solaris) environments.
• Work with Ansible Tower, creating Ansible scripts for configuration management.
• Provide dedicated support for Red Hat and Debian-based systems.
• Automate Linux tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Manage Apache and Nginx web servers, handling configurations and hosting setups.
• Administer DNS configurations, performing necessary troubleshooting.
• Support and administer various virtualization platforms, including Citrix.

About you:

• At least 3 years of experience with RHEL and Solaris, with a strong foundation in Linux administration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Ansible (including Ansible Tower), PowerShell, and Bash scripting to automate processes and maintain system consistency.
• Hands-on experience with Apache, Nginx, and virtualization platforms beyond VMware (such as Citrix) for hosting and managing enterprise-level services.
• Strong knowledge of DNS configurations, IP networking, and firewall setups to ensure seamless connectivity and issue resolution.
• Managing Puppet for Satellite, Ansible playbooks, Puppet Coding Management.
• Certifications in Windows Server, Azure, VMware, or Unix (RHEL, Solaris) plus ITIL, and prior experience supporting enterprise clients in a managed services environment.
