Asset and Data Centre Coordinator
About the OPPORTUNITY
Kinetic IT are looking for a coordinator fixed term until June 2025 to join one of our largest accounts in East Perth looking after their asset coordination, data centre activities and facilities management.
What would be included in this role?
- Looking after all the stocks in and out
- Data centre general hygiene - ensuring it is clear, people signing in and out and responding to alerts for DC
- Coordinate and facilitate vendors - contacting the vendor, doing the physical work
- Conduct an annual stocktake of ICT Assets
- Coordinate Software Purchasing and provide governance on licencing
- Facilitate desk moves by providing or collecting equipment, reimaging PC’s, assisting with relocation of hardware under the remit of the asset management function
- Manage and monitor safety compliance within the onsite Data Centres
- Manage and monitor the physical onsite Data Centres environment including the UPS, fire suppressant systems, environmental systems and floor space allocation.
- Respond to onsite Data Centre alerts and coordinate with operational teams and third party service providers for alert responses, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades in accordance with a 24/7 on-call roster
- Act as a liaison between third party service providers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide support and guidance to staff on ICT logistics and facilities-related matters.
- Collaboration with team members, end users, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders with to continuously improve our service, solutions, and experiences.
Skills required
- Experience in coordination or store roles (preferably ICT facilities management or logistics coordination roles), or a similar role.
- Experience with any facilities management and coordination activities
- Proficiency in ticket management or inventory management systems and tools.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
