We’re on the hunt for a Linux / Midrange Systems Engineer to join our Technical Enablement team in a brand-new State Government customer account based in East Perth, WA.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, managing, and optimising Linux-based server environments and midrange systems. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge technologies while making a real impact in a complex, high-demand environment.
We’re building a team focused on innovation, security, and service excellence across Technical Enablement, Cyber & Information Security, User Experience, and Service Engagement. You’ll collaborate with industry experts, tackle exciting challenges, and help drive the future of IT operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing and maintaining Linux and midrange systems.
- Automating system administration tasks to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshooting, optimising, and securing systems to keep everything running smoothly.
- Working in a Hybrid Compute Infrastructure team supporting server technologies on-premises virtual servers and cloud computing environments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Unix-based midrange systems.
- Experience with Linux servers, virtualisation and cloud computing
- Strong knowledge of automation and configuration management tools.
- A passion for problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimising complex IT environments.
- Great communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
