ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our dynamic People Services team in a fast-paced and diverse administrative role! Based at our Perth Head Office, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration and customer service experience looking to kick-start their career in people services. Initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.

IF YOU WERE HERE YESTERDAY, THERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU WOULD BE IINVOLED IN

  • Maintaining accurate HR records through data entry and updating.
  • Preparing correspondence and documentation using standard templates.
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Following up on compliance activities with internal stakeholders.
  • Administering Learning & Development requests and tracking course completions.
  • Responding to queries regarding HR forms, processes, and activities.
  • Managing the OC Support Services inbox, ensuring timely responses.
  • Creating and maintaining work instructions and supporting service improvements.
  • Assisting with projects and events across People & Culture teams.
  • Managing the People Support Services inbox, ensuring timely responses.

KEEN TO GET INVOLVED? YOU'LL JUST NEED SOME OF THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record maintenance.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and templates for documentation.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and respond to queries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset to support projects and process improvements.
  • Experience in administrative support, ideally within HR or a similar function.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
