About The Role
Kinetic IT is expanding its Commercial team and seeking an experienced Commercial Business Advisor. This role acts as a key liaison between the commercial assurance team and delivery and operational stakeholders, supporting contracts and commercial operations.
You’ll drive efficiency by optimising processes, maximising system value, reducing revenue leakage, and providing insights to support informed decision-making and Kinetic IT’s strategic goals.
An example of some of the key responsibilities:
- Lead process improvements and support system reviews to enable smooth transitions to strategic upgrades and new technologies.
- Collaborate with the transition-in team to configure systems and provide hands-on support during contract start-up for new customer engagements.
- Provide valuable input during the review of Statements of Work (SOW) for discretionary engagements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual and operational requirements.
- Work closely with account-based project services teams, offering guidance on setting up discretionary engagements within the project management module.
- Support contract managers through the operational stages of the contract lifecycle, proactively minimising revenue leakage.
- Deliver engaging ERP training sessions that equip users to self-manage regular operational tasks efficiently.
- Partner with stakeholders across projects, finance, and operations to achieve seamless commercial outcomes.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Proven experience in a commercial environment, preferably with large managed services contracts.
- Strong familiarity with enterprise-class ERP systems.
- Project management or coordination experience is highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in delivering training within systems- or process-driven environments.
