About The Role:
Kinetic IT is seeking a proactive and customer-focused End User Support (EUS) Technician to join our team, working in a fast-paced, operational environment based at Perth Airport. This is a hands-on, primarily onsite role where you will provide high-quality desktop, remote, and field support to end users while gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies, peripherals, and enterprise systems.
You will play a key role in ensuring reliable IT services, contributing to both business-as-usual support and project work, while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and service quality.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide onsite desktop support to Kinetic IT end users in an operational environment
- Deliver remote desktop support and field services as required
- Troubleshoot and support Windows and macOS environments, end-user applications, and devices
- Support Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, and MDM/Intune environments
- Diagnose and resolve PC hardware, basic networking, and connectivity issues
- Perform device builds, re-imaging, refreshes, and deployments
- Log, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests via ServiceNow in line with SLAs
- Support site-specific peripherals and technologies
- Participate in project work alongside BAU activities
- Accurately document work and contribute to knowledge base and process documentation
- Travel domestically as required
What you’ll bring to the table:
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong customer-service mindset, solid technical foundations, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, operational environment.
- Proven experience in an End User Support, Desktop Support, or similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and enterprise environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, ServiceNow, and MDM/Intune
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, and basic networking issues
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently onsite while collaborating with a wider national team
- Willingness to work in an operational environment and travel domestically when required
- Ability to obtain required security and site clearances (mandatory for the role)
