About The Role
Kinetic IT are looking for a Head of Resource Management to join the team in this pivotal strategic role; leading and owning enterprise-wide resource management strategy, ensuring optimal resource forecasting, capacity planning and utilisation across Kinetic IT.
This role drives an engaged, high-performing workforce by aligning the right mix of roles and skills to each engagement, maximising delivery profitability and ensuring resource allocation meets current and future business needs.
The Resource Manager will work closely with executives and cross-functional teams to influence strategic decisions on staffing and provides data-driven insights to guide the organisation’s workforce planning in line with business priorities and financial targets, supporting the development of an engaged, high-performing and productive workforce.
Responsibilities will include:
• Develop and implement an enterprise resource management strategy, establishing governance and best practices for resource planning across all business units.
• Establish resource management techniques and strategies to effectively analyse and forecast staffing needs and requirements.
• Implement tools (currently Float) and processes to allow for optimal forecasting, scheduling, resource utilisation and reporting.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting of resource availability and allocation.
• Translate sales forecasts and pipeline into resource profiles to enable proactive forward resource planning.
• Updating of the resource forecasting tool to ensure timely resource forecasting and scheduling.
• Identify and mitigate resource-related risks and capacity constraints.
• Working with Talent Acquisition team monitor and utilise contingent workforce contracts to align with business needs and risk appetite.
• Define success metrics to measure the effectiveness of resource planning.
• Generate data-driven insights to create reports for C-Level executives and Board members.
• Offer continuous expert guidance and information to stakeholders on supply and demand challenges, and present recommendations to ensure workforce delivery aligns with established plans, business priorities, financials, and timelines.
What you’ll bring to the table:
• Experience in a Resource/Workforce planning role in a large (>1000 staff) services organisation
• Skilled in resource planning within low-tool or manual environments
• Proven track record looking at ways of working and optimizing resource capability
• Working with stakeholders at a range of levels
• Tertiary qualifications or specialist training in resource / workforce planning
