About The Role

At Kinetic IT, we’re offering a paid 12-month Store Person traineeship where you’ll learn on the job, gain hands-on experience, and work towards a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing Operations)—no prior experience required.

This traineeship is more than just learning technical skills—it’s your chance to build real-world experience, develop professional habits, and kickstart a long-term career.

We don’t just hire for IT roles. This is a unique, onsite, hands-on opportunity to join one of our largest accounts as a Trainee Store Person. If you’re motivated, reliable, and ready to learn, this could be your first step into the tech and corporate industry.

Responsibilities will include:

I’ll work closely with an experienced Store Person and learn the ropes while gaining practical experience. Your day-to-day will include:

• Receiving, checking, and safely storing ICT equipment
• Keeping accurate inventory records and supporting stock counts
• Picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch
• Asset tagging and registering hardware
• Supporting desk moves and equipment relocations
• Following workplace safety procedures (including PPE use)
• Assisting with process improvements and general store tasks
• Creating inventory and asset reports

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 18 years or older
• A self-starter who takes initiative and is keen to learn
• Very organised with attention to detail
• Proactive and hardworking- ready to tackle tasks and solve problems
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Available to work full-time onsite (Monday to Friday)
• No prior qualifications (perfect for someone starting out!)
