SOE - Senior Systems Engineer

Join the Kinetic IT team as an SOE Engineer, playing a key role in managing and evolving the end-user environment across Windows and iOS platforms. This is a great opportunity to support one of our enterprise customers within our infrastructure team, delivering both BAU and project-based outcomes.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for SOE management across SCCM and Intune, including complex application packaging, deployment, and Group Policy administration. You’ll also leverage Nexthink to gain insights into endpoint performance and drive an improved user experience across the environment.

Please note this position is based 100% onsite in Perth CBD.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) across Windows and iOS platforms using SCCM and Intune
  • Designing, packaging and deploying complex applications across enterprise environments
  • Administering and optimising Group Policy to support secure and scalable device management
  • Leveraging Nexthink to monitor endpoint performance, drive insights, and improve user experience
  • Supporting service integration across end-user platforms and business systems
  • Contributing to both BAU operations and project-based initiatives, including SOE uplift and modernisation efforts

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Experience in an SOE / EUC role within an enterprise environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with SCCM and Intune across Windows and iOS
  • End-to-end SOE delivery, including packaging, deployment, patching, and compliance
  • Solid Group Policy and Active Directory knowledge
  • Experience with task sequencing, endpoint configuration, and large-scale deployments
  • PowerShell scripting skills for automation and optimisation
  • Exposure to Nexthink for endpoint insights and user experience improvement
  • Familiarity with AVD, WDAC, and modern endpoint security practices
  • Experience maintaining SOE images and performing OS/hardware upgrades
  • Strong documentation skills and experience working within ITIL environments
