About The Role
At Kinetic IT, we're building a more connected, proactive approach to workforce planning, and we're looking for a Resource Manager to play a key role in shaping how we do it.

This is a newly created national role that sits at the intersection of strategy and operations. You'll work closely with our accounts within our managed services business as well as working closely with professional services and people services to understand future demand, translate business opportunities into workforce plans, and ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time.

Reporting to the Head of Resource Management, you'll become a trusted partner to key stakeholders across the business, providing insights and recommendations that influence workforce decisions, support business growth and contribute to successful customer outcomes.
This role will pivotal in embedding the resource managing capability across Kinetic IT.

Responsibilities will include:
• Develop and evolve workforce forecasting, capacity planning, resource allocation and utilisation practices across Kinetic IT, ensuring they support both current and future business needs.
• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce demand and ensure accurate, timely resource planning and allocation across key customer accounts and projects.
• Translate sales pipeline, growth opportunities and business priorities into practical workforce plans that support successful delivery.
• Monitor workforce capacity, utilisation and capability, proactively identifying resource constraints, skill gaps and potential risks before they impact the business.
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition to align recruitment strategies, contingent workforce planning and hiring activity with forecast demand.
• Produce meaningful workforce planning metrics, utilisation reporting and data-driven insights that support informed business decisions.
• Provide trusted advice on workforce supply and demand, helping balance customer commitments, financial outcomes and operational priorities.
• Support bids, tenders and upcoming business opportunities by providing workforce planning expertise and resource recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workforce planning processes, resource optimisation and organisational performance.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Resource Management, contributing insights, recommendations and strategic input that help shape the future direction of the function.
• Assist with facilitating conversations around why Kinetic IT is adopting this approach to resource management.

What you’ll bring to the table:
• Experience in a Resource/Workforce planning role in a large (>1000 staff) services organisation.
• Skilled in resource planning within low-tool or manual environments
• Experience of working in a managed services company
• Experience with understanding the complexities if an IT service provider
• Impeccable communication skills with the dynamic approach to managing stakeholders and building key relationships
• The ability to build trust and share ideas
• Experience with understanding the complexities if an IT service provider
