About The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator on a fixed- term Contract until 30 September 2027, supporting one of our Government account.
The Project Management Team has an exciting new project coming up. While there will be a number of different projects you will assist with, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for keeping projects on track, ensuring tasks are completed within required timeframes, assisting with scheduling, and facilitating effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment. You will be detail-oriented, proactive, and have a strong ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator who has a proven track record of working within a vendor environment, along with experience using Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel. Experience with PPPM Dynamics is desirable, as is experience with Microsoft Project.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex project schedules within a constantly changing environment.
- Updating and maintaining project registers, databases, and associated records.
- Liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors.
- Supporting and administering project start-ups and closures.
- Managing project documentation, document control, and governance requirements.
- Preparing and updating project reports and monitoring critical milestones.
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, and accurately recording meeting minutes.
- Providing general administrative and coordination support to the Project Services Team.
- Assisting Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with the successful delivery of multiple projects.
- Supporting effective project communication and ensuring key actions and deliverables remain on track.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- An active Baseline clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience working as a Project Coordinator in a vendor environment, supporting multiple projects at the same time.
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel. Experience with PPPM Dynamics and Microsoft Project is a bonus.
- A degree in Project Management or a relevant project management certification would be beneficial.
- Great attention to detail, with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Someone who is proactive, adaptable and organised, and enjoys working in a busy project environment.
Don’t meet every requirement? Don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you!
