A key leadership opportunity has been created for a Change & Release Operations Manager to join Kinetic IT within our Federal Government domain.  This is a Full-time, Ongoing position, stationed strategically on customer site in Canberra Civic, with benefit of a hybrid flexibility to work from home partially through the week.

This role will oversee a focused and valuable team across purposeful resourcing to deliver specified services efficiently, managing rosters and workforce planning ensuring daily operations contribute and achieve targets across the service outcomes and collaborate as part of the national account environment.

ABOUT YOU

As a leader embedded within a Federal Government client's ecosystem, you will leverage your expertise within the Service Integration & Management (SIAM) framework to assist in resourcing and operational activities for your team with focus of Release practices.

Bringing strong customer focussed values to build collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and other Service Providers, you can craft and execute amongst service practices that not only align with policies, but also set industry standards and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.

Excited to take on this leadership role? We’re looking for:

• Ability to obtain & maintain an Australian Government Clearance
• Bring demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management frameworks ideally in Release/Change practices
• Expertise to drive the implementation & maintenance of Master Release plans and participation in Boards & Forums (CAB)
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team of Process professionals, fostering collaboration and positive work culture
• Proficiency in overseeing complex practises, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication
• Ability to make informed decisions quickly and confidently, considering both short-term needs and long-term views within the SIAM ecosystem.
