About The Role
Kinetic IT is looking for an experienced Corporate Planning & Performance Management Specialist to drive enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, performance measurement and strategic insight across a complex IT services organisation.
This is a specialist role, focused on end-to-end business planning and analysis, working closely with the Strategic finance team, CEO, CFO and senior leaders to shape both short-term execution and long-term strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and forecasting, including revenue, billing, resourcing, utilisation and profitability drivers
• Develop and maintain integrated financial models (3-way P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), pipelines, scenario analysis, and ROI assessments to support strategic decisions
• Deliver performance reporting, dashboards and executive summaries for Board, Executive and Leadership teams, translating complex data into actionable insights
• Act as a trusted business partner, ensuring leaders trust the numbers, understand performance drivers, and can make informed decisions
• Support business cases and investment decisions, including modelling options, assessing ROI, and scenario planning
• Track and evaluate performance-based incentive programs, linking achievement to strategic objectives and recommending improvements to drive desired outcomes
• Contribute to valuation, benchmarking, and operating model optimisation, leveraging best practices from other organisations
• Lift the maturity of planning, forecasting, and performance management processes, implementing tools, templates, and methodologies that increase accuracy and efficiency
• Partner across business units to identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring plans reflect operational realities and strategic priorities

What you’ll bring to the table:
• Proven track record as a Corporate Financial Planning Specialist for a services industry type company, ideally enterprise scale.
• Agile mindset & Systems thinker – Ability to approach complex organisational challenges with flexibility, adaptability, and a structured, holistic perspective across processes and teams.
• Strong Excel modelling skills
• Advanced Power BI skills
• Collaborative skills –having worked effectively with finance teams, business units, and senior leaders to drive alignment and achieve shared goals.
• Financial storytelling skills – Skilled at translating complex financial data into concise, actionable narratives that influence decision-making and strategy.
• Planning and performance management systems skills – Hands-on experience with enterprise planning, forecasting, and reporting systems to drive accuracy, efficiency, and insight.
• Working with C-level executives – Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders, providing strategic insight and guiding business planning and performance discussions and board reporting.
• Large, complex financial modelling – Ability to design and interpret detailed financial models for enterprise-level planning, forecasting, and valuation.
• In-depth business model and planning knowledge
• Microsoft Dynamics and Workday Adaptive Planning (or similar systems) – Proficiency in ERP and planning platforms, leveraging technology to improve planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Master’s in Commerce/Finance/CA/CPA or similar
